Syria’s victory over takfiri thought inevitable

The efforts of the Syrian army side by side with the internal security forces, in confronting terrorists have yielded tangible results on the ground and emphasized the signs of inevitable victory of Syria over the armed terrorist groups, especially in light of the great victories realized by the army against the takfiri terrorist groups in various areas through which army units managed to clear many areas of terrorists.

The terrorists who bear takfiri thoughts have sold themselves to the enemy to serve Zionist interests in execution of western and regional intelligence agendas whose role has been manifested through operation rooms in Jordan and Turkey with the participation of Saudi, Israeli and Western officials to aid terrorists and plan their terrorist attacks against Syrian people and their public and private properties. But Syria’s victory over the bearers of takfiri thoughts and their backers is inevitable.

Islam is innocent of the wahhabi takfiri thought, and the concept of Jihad marketed by takfiri groups is built on wrong and baseless rules. The colonialist countries, mainly Britain, found it imperative to forge a religious-political alliance in the region to protect its interests. Hence, it installed the Saudi family as rulers and founded the Wahhabi movement to issue fataws that suit their interests. The British TV Press Channel recently screened a program showing documents related to the direct involvement of Britain in establishing the Wahhabi movement and the alliance forged between Mohammed Bin Abdel Wahab and the ruling Saudi family. The programme showed that Britain used this alliance to end the Ottoman rule of the Arab homeland and start the implementation of new British-French colonialist projects such as the ill-famed Sykes-Picot and other sinister projects.

History repeats itself. Britain and other Western states are employing the princes of Al-Saud in disseminating the Wahhabi Takfiri thought and recruiting mercenary terrorists and shipping them off to Syria to destroy Syria and implement the Western Zionist agenda in it.

 It is important to turn the spotlight on takfiri thought as it jeopardizes the whole world clothed in the cloak of Islam. There should be a strategy to counter this phenomenon for warding off its negative impact on society and accentuating national identity.

Differences are usually worked out by logic dialogue, not killing. The takfir (declaring the other an infidel) is intended to liquidate resistance and target Syria’s pivotal role and its steadfastness people.

The unfolding events in Syria are the manifestation of a political and military plan masterminded by countries hostile to Syria and carried out by takfiri groups, with media backing of TV channels spewing sedition and hatred through fabricating lies that serve the Zionist agenda.

The armed terrorist groups are shedding the blood of the Syrian people at the provocation of fitna (strife)-mongers who are issuing the fatwas of killing with the aim of igniting sectarian seditions.

Syria has been exposed to systematic attacks by terrorists and takfiris against cultural and religious diversity in Syria. The countries assembling takfiri terrorists from all over the world and facilitating their entry to Syria are very remote from democracy, human rights and citizenship because they have totalitarian and autocratic systems. Their conduct towards Syria represents a flagrant violation of the UN Security Council resolution No. 1373 an all international norms.

Syria is in the middle of a war that has pitted it against terrorist takfiri groups comprising mercenaries from 83 countries around the world with the aim of effacing its cultural and religious diversity and the peaceful co-existence Syria has enjoyed since time immemorial.

The future of Syria is made by the Syrians through dialogue and the ballot box, not through arms, terrorism and the takfiri mercenaries who do not know anything other than killing and devastation.
