Syrian weightlifter wins bronze medal at Asian Championship

NEW DELHI, Aug.1, (ST)-Today, the Syrian weightlifter Mohammad Al-Kateb, won bronze medal at the Asian Junior Weightlifting Championship, which is currently being held in India.

Al-Kateb’s winning was in the 81 kg snatch competition where he picked up and held a 133 kg. He will participate in the jerk lift.

Tomorrow, the weightlifter Ahmad Al-Shamaa, will participate in the 89kg weight competition, while next Friday, weight competitions over 102kg will be held, in which the weightlifter Ali Mohammad will participate.
