Syrian-Iranian talks on enhancing cooperation in the field of communication and information technologies

Tehran (ST) – The Minister of Communication and Technology Iyad Al-Khatib discussed with his Iranian counterpart Eisa Zarepour, means of developing cooperation in the field of communication and information technology, and establishing markets for Iranian technology companies in Syria.

During their meeting in Tehran on Monday, the two ministers affirmed the implementation of bilateral documents and agreements signed during the recent visit of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to Syria.

The two sides discussed the previous agreements regarding the presence of private Iranian companies, active in the field of equipment and services related to communications and information technology, in Syria.
