“Small hearts for a big homeland”, an art workshop within the activities of International Children’s Day in Aleppo

Tishreen Hall in Aleppo hosted the “Small Hearts for a Great Homeland” event, which is organized by the Ministry of Culture and the Children’s Culture Directorate, as part of the series of activities for World Children’s Day in the city of Aleppo and its countryside.

The event attracted 100 children sponsored by the Orphan Girl Association, the Islamic Charity Association for Orphans, the Iskenderun District People’s Association, and the Art Group team, as part of a drawing workshop supervised by the Life Skills Team.

The event is an opportunity to unleash the spark of creativity among the participating children, by integrating them with an artistic atmosphere in which they express themselves with colors and drawings, which helps them expand their imagination and deal with colors and paper more skillfully thanks to the specialized supervisors.

The activity helps to provide psychological support to the participating children, and activates their artistic abilities in coordination and matching colors and shapes.

Throughout the workshop, reliance is placed on the method of dealing with color by hand and not with equipment, which helps to enhance the children’s self-confidence in production and creativity, and their reliance on his capabilities to provide the best.
