More than two thousand titles at the Syrian Book Fair in Tartous

Tartous (ST) – The Arab Writers Union inaugurated the Syrian Book Fair in its branch hall in Tartous Governorate on Sunday. The fair included more than two thousand titles in various fields such as stories, poetry, children’s literature, novels and research works.

The head of the Union of Arab Writers in Tartous, Munther Issa, stated that the fair provides the opportunity to all the union’s visitors to view the fair, and it comes within the activities of the union to disseminate the products of culture and literature, with the aim of transferring cultural knowledge to the mass.

He indicated that the books were offered with symbolic prices.

A number of poets recited their poetry that dealt with human and emotional concerns, suffering and pain, as well as longing and love
