Syrian Airlines: Technical malfunctions in some flights are caused by the blockade and unfair coercive measures

On July 30th, the Syrian Airlines Company confirmed that the technical failures that face some of the Company’s flights, and the suffering and negative consequences they cause to passengers and services, come in the context of the unfair economic war, sanctions and blockade that the air transport sector is exposed to, which prevents the provision of any spare parts, equipment or supplies.

The Company indicated in a post on its Facebook page that one of its planes that was to take off from Dubai to Damascus had a technical malfunction, explaining that its technical teams traveled from Damascus to Dubai Airport to deal with the malfunction as quickly as possible within the safety and security standards that are always in force in Syrian Airlines.

The Company pointed out that all necessary measures have been taken, including hotel reservations and what is necessary for travelers as a result of the delay, before their return to Damascus airport is secured.

The Company apologized to all passengers on the flight due to the technical malfunction in the plane and its consequences for the delay of some successive flights, and called on travelers who had reservations to contact its offices to get answers to all related inquiries.
