The Russian army thwarts attacks by the Ukrainian regime forces, destroy tanks and artillery, shoots down 17 drones

Moscow (ST): The Russian army repulsed all attacks launched by the Ukrainian regime forces on the contact lines, killing about 690 soldiers, destroying many Western artillery and tanks, and downing 17 drones.

In its daily report on the progress of the special military operation during the past 24 hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that the Ukrainian forces continued their attempts to carry out offensive operations on the axes of southern Donetsk, Krasny Lyman and Donetsk.

The ministry indicated that the Kiev regime continued on the axis of southern Donetsk its attempts to penetrate the defenses of the Russian forces near the towns of Rabotino and Uspinovka, using armored vehicles and other heavy equipment, but the Russian soldiers were able to repel all the attacks and eliminated 180 Ukrainian soldiers, and destroyed 5 tanks, including 3 of the type German Leopard and two French tanks.

The ministry pointed out that the Russian forces confronted a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the Vrimevsky area, killing 110 Ukrainian soldiers.

On the Krasny Liman axis, the Russian forces repelled 4 attacks, seized a number of fortified points of the Ukrainian forces, and advanced in the depth of its defenses for distances of up to 3 kilometers, with a total loss of 90 soldiers.

According to the ministry, 7 hostile attacks were repelled on the Donetsk axis, which resulted in the death of more than 260 Ukrainian soldiers.
