The DPRK celebrates the Victory Day in the Patriotic War with a military parade that included the latest types of weapons
Pyongyang (ST): The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea celebrated the 70th anniversary of Victory Day in the Great National Liberation War, with a military parade in Kim Il Sung Square in the capital, Pyongyang, featuring the latest types of weapons.
The parade took place in the presence of President Kim Jong Un, a Russian delegation headed by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and a Chinese delegation headed by Li Hongzhong, a member of the Communist Party’s Politburo.
The DPRK news agency said: “The parade demonstrated to the whole world the solid will of all soldiers and people to establish a new myth of victory during the reign of Kim Jong Un.”
The military parade featured (Hwasong-17) intercontinental ballistic missiles and (Hwasong-18) solid-fuel ballistic missiles, reconnaissance and attack drones, and homemade nuclear submarines.
