Syrian-Chinese talks to develop cooperation in the field of administrative reform
On July 27th, the Minister of Administrative Development Salam Safaf and the Chinese Ambassador to Damascus Shi Hongwei discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop them, especially in the field of administrative reform.
Safaf reviewed the steps taken by the Syrian government to reach effective institutions, in addition to the efforts made in the field of investing in human resources, and raising it to the highest levels, in a way that allows optimal use of qualified and efficient cadres.
She expressed the desire of the Syrian side to enhance cooperation with the Chinese side by signing a memorandum of understanding in this regard.
In turn, the Chinese ambassador referred to the Chinese experience in the field of institutional reform, pointing to his country’s readiness to provide all the support that Syria needs to develop and rehabilitate human cadres.
