Today, the branch of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) in Daraa received a new Jordanian aid convoy that entered through the Nassib border post, carrying food, medical supplies and clothes for those affected by the earthquake.
The Head of SARC’s branch in the province of Daraa Ahmed Al-Masalmeh explained in a statement that SARC received an aid convoy that includes various relief materials, including clothing, food, and medical materials from the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization and the Jordanian government.
He added that the aid convoy will be distributed as following: 5 trucks to Lattakia, 6 trucks to Aleppo, and 3 trucks carrying medical materials that will be deposited in Damascus in preparation for distribution.
For his part, the director of the Naseeb Center Shadi Abazid said in a similar statement that the convoy includes 14 trucks carrying various foodstuffs, medical materials, and clothes.
He said that the center provides all facilities for aid convoys, and that the truckloads were unloaded at the center and transported within the Syrian Arab Red Crescent trucks to the concerned governorates.
