Six Palestinian captives continue an open hunger strike, in protest against the crimes and arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against the captives.
The Commission of Detainees (captives) and Ex-Detainees Affairs said in a statement today, reported by WAFA News Agency: The two captives Ataf Jaradat and Fatima Shaheen, are on a hunger strike for the third day, in protest of their arbitrary transfer from one prison to another, noting that the captives Iyad Radwan and Samer Abu Diak are on in a strike in solidarity with them, while the prisoner Omar Al-Sanajel continues his strike for the thirteenth day, and the prisoner Ismail Halabiya for the seventh day.
The commission called on the institutions of the international community and the International Committee of the Red Cross to intervene immediately to save their lives and to put pressure on the occupation to release them.
