Iranian Ministry of Security arrests members of an Israeli terrorist cell

Tehran, (ST) – The Iranian Ministry of Security announced the arrest of members of a large Israeli terrorist cell planning to carry out sabotage operations in the country.

The ministry said in a statement on Monday: The terrorists were planning to carry out sabotage operations on the eve of the ceremonies of the month of Muharram, including the bombing of the shrine of the martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard.

The ministry added that 43 bombs were seized in the terrorists’ possession.

The statement indicated that the leaders of this cell are in Denmark and the Netherlands.
