On July 23rd, Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash on Sunday met with Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Omani Dar Al-Ataa Association, Maryam bint Issa Al-Zadjali, and the accompanying delegation.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination, especially in terms of securing and rehabilitating medical equipment.
Dr. Al-Ghabbash stressed the importance of cooperation between Syria and the Sultanate of Oman to improve the situation of health services, appreciating Oman’s support for Syria’s health sector, especially after the earthquake disaster and the response to its repercussions, and hailed the depth of historical relations between Syria and the Sultanate of Oman at all levels.
In turn, Al-Zadjali expressed the association’s readiness to increase coordination and cooperation in the field of rehabilitating the Syrian health facilities that were damaged by war and disasters, and to identify the needs of the health sector through cooperation with the Omani Commission for Charity Organizations.
It is noteworthy that the Dar Al Attaa Association is a voluntary, non-governmental charitable organization in the Sultanate of Oman, whose aim is to create a better life for individuals, help the poor and families without a breadwinner, and carry out charitable activities.
