Syria wins 25 various medals on third day of Arab Cup Powerlifting Championships in Beirut

On the 3rd day of the Arab Cup Powerlifting Championships in Beirut, the Syrian team managed to win 25 various medals including 11 golds, 6 silvers and 8 bronzes.

In the men’s 105 kg weight competitions, the athlete Ahmad Abdullah obtained two gold and two silver medals, while Mahran Ali won a bronze medal. In the same weight and youth category competitions, the player Mulham Zeino won 4 bronzes, while in the (Master II) category for the same weight, the Syrian player Samer Al-Ali won a silver medal and three bronzes.

As for the 93 kg weight (Master I) competitions, athlete Hazem Awad won three gold medals and a silver one, while the player Basel Housh won two golds and two silvers in the competitions within the 93 kg weight (Master II) category.

As for the female competitions in the 76 kg category, athlete hanin Saab won 4 gold medals.

The Syrian team harvested 59 medals on the first day of the tournament, while on 44 ones on the second day of the event which concludes on Saturday.
