2nd International Expo of Security, Safety and Digital Transformation, (SAS Expo 2) opens with the participation of more than 50 companies

Damascus (ST): The activities of the 2nd International Exhibition for Security, Safety and Digital Transformation (SAS Expo 2), organized by the Mashhadani International Group for Exhibitions and Conferences, in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Technology, kicked off Thursday evening in Damascus Fairground.

Assistant Minister of Communications and Technology for Digital Transformation Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Muhammad, explained in a statement to the media that the importance of holding this exhibition and other exhibitions related to information and communication technology comes from its consistency with the digital transformation strategy that the government has begun implementing since 2021. He pointed to the increasing interest in information security issues globally and locally in the light of information attacks, breaches and dumping that all systems in various business sectors may be exposed to.

Dr. Muhammad believed that the exhibition constitutes an opportunity for all participants in the various sectors, as it allows them to discuss, exchange information, experiences and opinions, and learn about all new services and ideas in the field of technology, digital transformation and cyber security.

In turn, Khalaf Mashhadani, the general manager of the organizing group, indicated that what distinguishes the second session is the diversity of the participations, which include a wide range of services provided in the world of technology, in addition to external participations from sisterly countries such as the United Arab Emirates, as the exhibition includes more than 50 specialized companies that provide services in the field of cyber security, digital transformation, physical security solutions, control protocols and others.
