Moscow (ST): South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa stressed that the Ukrainian war affects the entire world, including the African continent, and therefore all peace-loving peoples must intervene to stop this war.
Ramaphosa was quoted by Novosti as saying in an interview with SABS TV: “The proposal of an African peace plan to resolve the crisis in Ukraine should be seen as a complement to other peace initiatives”.
The African Union had put forward an initiative to bring peace to Ukraine and end the crisis in it, consisting of ten points, including achieving peace through negotiations, through diplomatic methods as soon as possible, as well as stopping the escalation of the conflict on both sides, guaranteeing the sovereignty of states and peoples in accordance with the United Nations Charter, and providing security guarantees for all countries.
