The Churches Affairs Committee in Palestine calls for an end to the occupation’s attacks on holy places

Occupied Al-Quds- (ST): The Higher Presidential Committee for Church Affairs in Palestine called on the international community to assume its responsibilities and to intervene urgently and decisively to stop the escalating Israeli aggressions against Christian and Islamic sanctities.

The Chairman of the Committee, member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Ramzi Khoury, condemned the escalation of repeated settler threats and attacks targeting churches, clergymen, and holy places.

In a statement reported by Wafa News Agency, he expressed concern about the lack of deterrent measures and strong accountability to prevent these aggressive acts.

Khoury called on international organizations to put pressure on the occupying entity and take immediate measures to stop the repeated Israeli violations of the sanctity of religions, to protect all Islamic and Christian holy places, and to guarantee the right to worship.
