6th Arab-Indian Partnership Conference 2023 launched with the participation of Syria

The 6th Arab-Indian partnership Conference 2023 was launched on Tuesday in the Indian capital, New Delhi, in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Arab League and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Delegates from Syria and most Arab countries as well as major Indian companies operating in these countries.

Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Vellamvelly Muraleedharan stressed the importance of the relationship between India and the Arab world, noting New Delhi’s keenness to strengthen relations of cooperation and friendship with all Arab countries in the interest of the people of the region.

Muraleedharan affirmed that the Arab Indian relations withstood the test of time and geopolitical conflicts, and these relations continued to grow even during the Corona pandemic.

The Syrian delegation, which comprised the Head of the Planning and International Cooperation Authority, Dr. Fadi Al-Khalil and the Syrian ambassador to India Dr. Bassam Al-Khateeb and his deputy Mrs. Manal Qaddoura, held meetings with a large number of Arab ambassadors, the ambassador of the Arab League to India, and advanced Indian companies wishing to invest in Syria.

Dr. Al-Khalil called on representatives of Indian companies to visit Syria and take advantage of the investment opportunities available there, especially for friendly countries, including India, which has maintained good relations with Syria in all fields.

The speeches of the participating delegations focused on the need to enhance joint cooperation and increase joint investments between India and the Arab countries.

The conference will continue until tomorrow. Investment opportunities in many sectors in India and the Arab world will be presented and discussed.
