Syrian, Iranian companies launch “The International Arab City for Reconstruction in Syria” initiative
The “Future Horizons Company and the -Syrian-Iranian Automobile Manufacturing Company “SIVECO International” in cooperation with the Syrian Expatriates House Company has launched an initiative titled ” the International Arab City for the Reconstruction of the Syrian Homeland” at the company’s administration building in Damascus.
The initiative aims to help revive the Syrian economy and plan to reach a stable economy based on enhancing the national production, and seek to stabilize the participatory economy and help to achieve a sustainable development program.
The Future Horizons Center for Syrian Investments was inaugurated, which is concerned in all economic, commercial and tourism events. Its aim is to hold conferences and secure the necessary opportunities to link all internal and external investments, access to foreign investment, and introduce investors to the investment environment in Syria and Iran.
Assistant Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Muhamed Firas Al Nabhan explained in a statement to SANA that the initiative is important and especially in the issue of networking between companies through the center which was opened, noting the importance of cooperation with the Iranian side in finding a set of projects and ideas to launch towards a real partnership especially in the process of linking between the owner work and the worker.
In his turn, the Iranian ambassador to Syria, Hosien Akbari, indicated that the center is important in terms of acquainting with the latest economic and investment capabilities, creating new joint investment opportunities and benefiting from capabilities and resources existing between the two countries.
General Manager of Future Horizons Company Ahmed Karjaz referred to the importance of keeping pace with the digital transformation of the national economy, launching incubators for businessmen, strengthening the structure of the economy, and encouraging Arab and foreign investors to enter the Syrian investment market. He pointed out that the stage of reconstruction in Syria requires preparing the appropriate ground to attract investments and introducing investment capabilities in Syria.
