Damascus (ST): Syria is participating in the International Physics Olympiad for the year 2023, whose competitions start today in Japan, and continue until the 17th of this month with the participation of 87 countries.
The Excellence and Creativity Authority stated in a statement that the National Physics Olympiad team represents Syria in these competitions, which includes students Mahmoud Muhammad Zahir Ayroud from Aleppo Governorate, Al-Mashreq Private School, Amer Essam Al-Dali from Damascus countryside, Al-Basil School for Outstanding Students in Sahnaya, and Ammar Raqid Masoud from the Governorate Hama High School, Shatha and Anas Ali Mayeh from Lattakia, the National Center for Distinguished Students.
It is noteworthy that it is Syria’s tenth global participation in the International Physics Olympiad, and last year our international team won a bronze medal and four certificates of appreciation.
