Today, the 40th session of the Vanguard Pioneers competitions, organized by the Baath Vanguards Organization, kicked off in the Governorate of Damascus, at the entire country’s level, with the participation of 1153 pioneer students from fifth and sixth grade in the basic education stage at the governorate level in various specializations.
The competitions include testing pioneers in the fields of culture, eloquence, rhetoric, story, poetry, essay, English language, music, theater and sports that include volleyball, badminton and chess, media and technical sciences that include physics, science, chemistry, computer science and electrons.
The program of the festival, which will end on Tuesday, includes, in addition to competitions, recreational and tourism activities for the participating delegations in the areas of Nabek, Yabroud and Deir Attiya.
The Governorate of Damascus countryside on Saturday received children from the Baath Vanguards Organization participating in the pioneer competitions.
