“Syrpetro” Exhibition an opportunity to attract investments, show the development of oil industry 

The latest developments in the field of the oil industry, production and exploration, are presented by the 4th Syrian International Petroleum, Gas and Energy Exhibition, “Syrpetro2023”, which is currently being held at the fairgrounds in Damascus, and will continue until the 10th of this month.

Participants in the exhibition emphasized its importance as it is a space for specialized companies to gather to display their products.

Eng. Amin Daghri, General Manager of the Syrian Gas Company, said that the exhibition is an opportunity for investors and those interested in the field of oil in order to exchange experiences, sign cooperation agreements, and learn about the latest developments in oil technology.

Engineer Raed Shaheen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ebla Oil and Gas Company, explained that the company operates between the General Oil Corporation and Petro Canada Palmyra Company under a contract for the development and production of oil from the Palmyra region, and it owns a gas collection station in the Shaer field and a gas processing plant in Furqlus.

He said that participation in the exhibition is an opportunity to display Areas of work and production of public sector companies specialized in oil.

Mazen Kinaina, Director of the Abdul Karim Group for Mineral Oils, referred to the role of specialized exhibitions in introducing the products of public and private companies, presenting competitive offers, learning about everything new in this sector, and opening new markets for export to other countries, especially Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt.

Habib Lahham from Al-Badr Corporation for the manufacture of mineral oils, expressed his company’s keenness to participate in the exhibition in order to keep abreast of global developments in this field.

Eng. Osama Mulki of Amazon Company for Oils pointed out that it is the first participation in the exhibition, and it is an opportunity to learn about the need of the local market and new work technologies to benefit from them in future projects and develop work mechanisms.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Development Center for Commercial Arbitration, Remy Haj Youssef, explained the importance of their participation in the exhibition to introduce the participating commercial companies to the institutional arbitration work, which has become a supporter of the judiciary, as the center specializes in resolving commercial disputes between companies, facilitating commercial work, legal prosecution and follow-up.

The exhibition was launched on July 7thwith the participation of more than 55 local and international companies specialized in the oil industries.

It is noteworthy that the exhibition opens its doors daily from 5pms until 10pm.
