The maintenance teams of the Drinking Water General Establishment in the Syrian province of Sweida have repaired 16 water wells in different parts of the province and put them again into service.
Director General of the establishment Wael Al-Shariti told a SANA reporter that the repaired wells were re-operated to secure drinking water to citizens in the villages and the residential areas that depend on these wells.
The Directorate of Maintenance and Investment in the establishment will continue repairing other damaged wells in the governorate in accordance with priority and will work to ensure submersible pumps to secure drinking water to citizens.
