National Earthquake Center: 5 weak tremors recorded over the past 24 hours

The National Earthquake Center announced on Saturday that its monitoring stations recorded 5 weak tremors during the past 24 hours with an intensity ranging between magnitude 1.5 and 3.2.

According to the center, the tremors were recorded as follows: one earthquake in the Mediterranean, northwest of Lattakia at a magnitude of 2.3, a tremor in the Mediterranean, 100 km west of Tartous, at a magnitude of 2.9 and a tremor, southwest of Tartous at a magnitude of 1.5.

The center added that a tremor was monitored in the Red Sea, northwest of Cyprus at a magnitude of 2.3 and another tremor in central Turkey at a magnitude of 3.2.
