Minister of Social Affairs stresses NGOs and government should join efforts to alleviate the repercussions of war and sanctions on the Syrians

Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Louay Al-Munajjed has stressed the importance of strengthening participatory work between non-governmental organizations, and government to confront the effects of the war that Syria has been exposed to, to alleviate the repercussions of the economic blockade that targeted the Syrian people and to ensure that humanitarian assistance reaches the largest possible number of needy families and citizens.

He made the remarks during his meeting today with representatives of the associations the “Syrian Doctors for Public Health”, “Syria One Homeland”, “Anhar Foundation” at Al-Rahma Orphanage.

He affirmed the Ministry’s readiness to support all the efforts that aim at developing the civil sector to be an active partner in community service and development.
