Detainees Affairs Authority : Two Palestinian female captives are facing difficult conditions in Ramla Detention Center

The Commission for Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs revealed that the two prisoners, Fatima Shaheen and Ataf Jaradat, are facing very difficult conditions in Ramla detention center, as a result of the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation authorities against them.

The commission said in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency News Agency, that  prisoner Jaradat is in Ramla detention center as an escort to the injured prisoner, Shaheen, who was shot by the occupation forces when she was arrested, which led to her paralysis.Shaheen is still suffering from severe pain and swelling caused by the injury, keeping her awake all night, while the occupation authorities refuse to provide her with the necessary treatment, in addition to depriving the two prisoners from visiting their families or communicating with them by phone.

The commission also confirmed that the situation of the two female prisoners is very bad, that the room in which the occupation is holding them is very small, where they cannot move in it, there is no window and the ventilation is very poor.

The occupation forces arrested the captive Shaheen last April after they shot her, hitting her in the abdomen and back, which left her paralyzed.
