Lavrentiev: The American occupation forces are coordinating with terrorist organizations in Syria to carry out terrorist attacks

On June 22nd, the Special Envoy of the Russian President to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, announced that the American occupation forces continue to coordinate with terrorist organizations in Syria with the aim of carrying out more terrorist attacks there.

“There is information that the United States is strengthening its forces in northeastern Syria and in the Al-Tanf region it occupies,” Lavrentiev said in an interview with Novosti Agency, adding: “This measure may be a result of the tightening of the American position towards Damascus, and Washington’s attempts to destabilize Syria.”

Lavrentiev pointed out that the US intelligence services continue to work with extremist terrorist elements in Syria through their illegal military bases there, with the aim of carrying out more sabotage terrorist acts on Syrian territory.

The American occupation forces had established a number of illegal military bases in northeastern Syria with the aim of stealing its wealth, especially oil and wheat, with the help of the “SDF” militia associated with it.
