Minister of Transport, Secretary General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity discuss means of cooperation  

Damascus (ST)-The Minister of Transport, Eng. Zuhair Khuzaym stressed the importance of consolidating relations of cooperation and coordination with the Council of Arab Economic Unity and the qualitative Arab federations affiliated to it, including the Arab Railway Union.

During his meeting with the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, Ambassador Mohammadi Ahmed Al-Nani, and the accompanying delegation on Wednesday at the Ministry’s building, Khuzaym pointed to the need to move forward with development steps and offer investment opportunities and projects in every sector with modern visions.

Khuzaym also referred to the benefit from the advantages and incentives of the investment law in Syria, which encourages investors. , and opens great prospects for cooperation.

Ambassador Al-Nani indicated that the Council of Arab Economic Unity was keen to be one of the first Arab institutions to visit Syria after the Jeddah summit, with the aim of strengthening cooperation with the relevant authorities in Syria.

Al- Nani stressed that Syria’s effective presence in the League of Arab States and its specialized organizations and bodies contributes to strengthening joint Arab action
