Muscat – The Syrian Ambassador to Oman Idris Mayya and the CEO of the Omani Authority for Charitable Activities Muhammad bin Hamoud Al-Dhuhli on Tuesday discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, and mechanisms to enhance cooperation in the field of charitable works.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mayya expressed Syria’s gratitude to the brotherly people of Oman, the Omani leadership and people, and to the Omani Authority for charitable activities for the assistance they have povided to those affected by the earthquake that struck Syria last February.
The meeting was attended by Badr bin Mohammed Al Zaabi, Deputy CEO of the Omani Authority for Charitable Activities, Nasr bin Khalifa Al Kathiri, Director of Public Relations and Media at the Authority, and Samer Bakour, attaché at the Syrian Embassy.
