More than 27,000 wanted persons joined the comprehensive settlement process in Daraa within 16 days

The number of wanted persons who joined the comprehensive settlement process in Daraa governorate has exceeded more than 27 thousand since the launch of the process on the third of this month.

A security source stated that by the end of the sixteenth day of the settlement process, which began on the 3rd of June, thousands of wanted persons were able to settle their statuses, including civilians, military personnel, and policemen, in addition to those wanted outside Syria.

The source said that joining the settlement process and the return to normal life is a positive sign, confirming the real desire of everyone in the various regions of the city of Daraa and its countryside to restore stability and safety to all parts of the province.

It is noteworthy that the special authorities yesterday extended the settlement process in the city of Daraa for two additional days to open the door for those whose circumstances did not allow them to settle their situation.

The ongoing settlement process is the most comprehensive and largest in Daraa governorate since 2018.
