Syrian Army achieves more progress in al-Nabek city in Damascus countryside

Damascus, Aleppo,(ST)-Army forces continued carrying out intensified operations in various areas during which terrorist groups were eliminated and their weapons and ammunition  were destroyed.

Units of the armed forces carried out a series of concentrated and successful operations against terrorists’ groupings in different areas in Damascus countryside in which the army units killed non-Syrian terrorists, including Jordanians and Somalis.

An official source told a local media that army units destroyed several terrorists’ dens in Rima farms and the eastern and northern farms of al-Nabek city, killing all terrorists inside them.

Many terrorists were also killed in the farms of al-Abbadeh, including a member of the so-called “Ansar al-Shariaa  Brigade” and the leader of the so-called “Saif al-Islam Battalion”.

Army units clashed with terrorist groups in the farms of Deir Salman and the area surrounding al-Qaria al-Shamiyeh, killing scores of other terrorists.

Other units of the armed forces destroyed an armed terrorists’ den that contained an amount of weapons and ammunition in Alia farms in Douma area and killed members of an armed terrorist group in al-Rihan town .

Units of the armed forces carried out a number of operations in the towns of Erbin and Zamalka that resulted in killing many terrorists.

In the southern countryside of Damascus, an armed unit killed a number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and equipment in Yelda town.

To the east of al-Sayyeda Zainab shrine and the bakery roundabouts in Daraya city, the clashes erupting between army units and terrorist groups resulted to in killing three terrorists and injuring others.

Another army unit set an ambush to members of an armed terrorist group in the eastern mountains of al-Zabadani city, killing many of them and destroying their weapons and ammunition.

Another army unit killed three terrorists near al-Hassan Mosque in al-Qaboun neighborhood in the city of Damascus.

In Aleppo, a military source said that all members of armed terrorist groups, who were looting and attacking the citizens in al-Dbait street, the vegetables market in al-Ashrafiyeh neighborhood, Salah-Eddin and Bustan al-Kasser neighborhoods and the old city of Aleppo, were eliminated and injured.

An army unit confronted an armed terrorist groups’ attempt to attack al-Kindi Hospital and foiled their attempts to detonate two cars in the area surrounding the hospital, killing and injuring scores of them.

The source added that a big number of terrorists were killed and injured in an operations by the army against the terrorists’ hideouts in Talet al-Ghali, al-Nakarin, Biyanon, al-Sheikh Said, Maqtaa al-Bakkarah, the area surrounding Aleppo central prison and al-Kastillo.
