The National Earthquake Center: 8 weak tremors monitored during the past 24 hours
On June 18th, the National Seismological Center announced that 8 earthquakes of low intensity were recorded during the past 24 hours.
The center stated that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded, until 4:23 am this morning, 3 tremors in Turkey, with intensities ranging between 2.9 and 3.7 on the Richter scale, and 3 tremors in Iskenderun (Alexandretta) , with intensities ranging between 1.6 and 2. .5 degrees.
The center added: The stations also recorded an earthquake northwest of Hama, 5 km, measuring 3.0 degrees, and an earthquake northwest of Latakia, measuring 1.5 degrees on the Richter scale.
