Raisi to the Saudi Foreign Minister: Cooperation and dialogue between the countries of the region can solve their problems

Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi announced that Iran does not object to strengthening  its relations with all Islamic countries, explaining that the enemies of Muslims, led by the Zionist entity, are the ones who oppose the development of bilateral and regional cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia.

During his meeting with Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan in Tehran yesterday, Raisi welcomed the establishment of relations between the two important and influential countries in the Islamic world, stressing that Iran is following the policy of good neighborhood and has no obstacles to developing relations with Islamic countries.

“There are many different problems in the region that have become a source of suffering for them, but in cooperation and dialogue between the countries of the region, these problems can be overcome, and there is no need for strangers to interfere in that,” Raisi said.

Raisi pointed out that Iran’s successful experience in combating terrorism and takfiri groups can be the focus of cooperation between the two countries, indicating that the Zionist entity is not only a threat to the Palestinians but also for all Muslims.

In turn, the Saudi Foreign Minister expressed his great satisfaction to restore relations between the two countries, pointing to the formation of various working groups to develop relations with Iran and upgrade them to a strategic level.

Bin Farhan pointed out that the expansion of the current interaction and cooperation between Iran and Saudi Arabia will have positive results at the level of the region and all Islamic countries.
