Three US-backed SDF militants killed in blast of an explosive device north of Raqqa

Raqqa – Three militants affiliated to the US-backed “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) separatist militia were killed on Saturday in the blast of an explosive device that targeted their military car. The militants were driving towards the north of Raqqa city when the explosion occurred.

Local sources told SANA that an explosive device, planted on the road between Ein Issa and Tal Al-Samen towns, north of Raqqa, went off when a military car that belongs to the SDF militia was coming, killing three militants.

The sources pointed out that the SDF militia brought in military reinforcement to Ein Issa town, cordoned off the explosion site and started inspecting citizens’ cars.
