The Palestinian Foreign Ministry: The international community’s silence on the occupation’s crimes against children makes it a partner

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned of the danger of the Israeli occupation continuing its crimes against Palestinian children, which come as part of its systematic policy of killing and terror, amid the silence of the international community, which seems helpless in the face of these crimes and therefore complicit in them.

In a statement today, reported by Palestinian Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the occupation’s persistence in its practices and violations against Palestinian children is a flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and principles and agreements that protect children’s rights, calling on human rights and humanitarian institutions to take serious measures to stop them.

The Foreign Ministry stressed that the international community’s silence on the crimes committed by the occupation against the Palestinian people, especially children, reflects its inability to translate its convictions into actual measures to stop these crimes and makes it complicit and partner in covering them up.
