The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic holds several meetings on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg Forum

Moscow (ST): The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, headed by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Kinan Yaghi, held several meetings on the sidelines of the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In a meeting with the permanent representative of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian presidency, Georgy Muradov, the delegation discussed ways to develop inter-economic cooperation and expand its horizons at all levels with the Russian Republic of Crimea.

In another meeting with the deputy governor of Leningrad countryside, Roman Marco, appreciation was expressed for the efforts made by the governorate in providing assistance to families affected by the recent earthquake in Syria.

The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic participated in several panel discussions and lectures on the agenda of the forum, which focused on ways to confront economic problems in light of international changes and mitigate their effects.

The President of the Revolutionary Youth Union, Sumer Daher, and a member of the leadership of the Union, Rahaf Jassim, also participated in the forum’s lectures and the dialogue sessions of youth organizations.

The activities of the 26th St.Petersburg International Economic Forum started yesterday with the participation of the delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic, which is headed by the Minister of Finance, and includes both the Syrian Ambassador to Moscow, Dr. Bashar Al-Jaafari, and the Honorary Consul in Petersburg, Dr. Malaz Ghazi.
