Palestinian Presidency: Crimes of Israeli occupation won’t undermine determination of Palestinian people
The Palestinian presidency affirmed that the crimes of the Israeli occupation and the policy of collective punishment that it pursues against the Palestinian people will not undermine their resolve, and they will remain steadfast on their land, defending it until liberation and the establishment of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
WAFA news agency quoted spokesman for the Palestinian Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, as saying in a statement today: “The occupation authorities insist on dragging the region into escalation through its continuous crimes against the Palestinians, the most recent of which was the storming of its forces into the city of Nablus at dawn today, which resulted in the death of a young man and the injury of dozens and the bombing of the house of the prisoner Osama Al-Taweel.”
Abu Rudeineh said: The policy of collective punishment practiced by “Israel”, whether by demolishing homes, killing Palestinians, besieging their cities and towns, or its aggressive measures in Jerusalem, are war crimes according to international law. He underlined the need of punishing them, taking serious policies to stop them before it is too late, and providing protection for the Palestinian people.
