Different types of important e-services that cope with IT global development shown in HiTech 2023

A set of advertising services are being provided by the “Damazel” company during its participation in the 9th  session of the Information and Communication Technology Exhibition [HiTech] which is organized by the Arab Group for Exhibitions in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Technology on the new fair city in Damascus countryside.

The Director-General of the company, Haya Al-Nabilsi told Syria Times e-newspaper: “”Damazel” is the first e-advertising platform in Syria that provides its services under the slogan “From  pen to the real estate… buying, selling and renting.” It links between the seller And the buyer without a mediator and without commission..

She clarified that the services provided by the platform include the classified advertisement (ad.)service, which help publishing  ad and searching for it according to the categories of  each product, where the ad is published on the home page of the website and the “Damazel” application as well to be viewed by visitors and customers.

“There is  also the service of animated ads, slides on the homepage of the site and it is linked to social media, so that the user goes to it when clicking on the advertisement,” Al-Nabilsi said.

She went on to say that there is another service related to the professional photography service, where the “Damazel” camera captures the most beautiful and high-quality photos that help spread the product and get more views.

She referred to the importance of participation in the “HiTech” exhibition, which is witnessing an increasing turnout year by year.

Bank services were also available in the event.

The CEO of the “Al-Ibdaa” Bank for Microfinance, Adeeb Sharaf, told us: “ We are launching today the bank’s e-application, which is the first of its kind at the level of microfinance. It provides many electronic financial services to customers, such as providing loans, opening e-accounts,  paying bills with the Syrian Payment Company …etc.”

He added that the first 500 accounts to be registered by the bank will get a symbolic amount of money as a gift to enable customers to benefit from the available services.

According to Sharaf, the bank is participating for the first time in the “HiTech” exhibition, as the bank’s previous participation focused on exhibitions dealing with projects.

It is noteworthy that the “Al-Ibdaa” Bank for Microfinance / Syria / was established in 2010 in partnership between the Syrian government, the private sector and the Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND) within the framework of its work to establish banks for the poor in the Arab world.

Syria Times e-newspaper also interviewed Mazen Abdel Salam, Director of the Media Department at Wafa Telecom, who asserted that their participation in the “HiTech” exhibition is important because the company participates for the first time as an official sponsor of the event.

He indicated that the company is showing in its pavilion the first test of 5G technology, which is one of the latest global communication technologies that helps improve the performance of the communications network, increase its speed, reduce response time, improve security features, enable real-time collaboration between remote teams.

Eng. Jawad  Murtada, who works at  the  Tarkiz  Company [Focus company] told us: “ Our company is interested in producing technical solutions for different business sectors that are easy to use and provide assistance in implementing unique and elegant designs for websites and providing customers with highly efficient hosting services. The importance of the company lies in providing simple and effective systems to customers.”

The company has launched two applications: Mashawiri and Find Me. The first one provides a safe and easy commute while the second one brings Syrian market and trade, tourist and industrial companies together.

The exhibition is an important forum that shows the latest and most important solutions, systems and software for applications related to computers, smart phones and technologies used in the field of informatics, smart cities, e-government and electronic payment.

HiTech provides the opportunity for research and development centers to display their products and opens windows for the software industry, equipment, information technology and the Internet at local and regional levels.
