More homes to be rehabilitated in Darayya to help displaced residents return

The local council in Darrayya city in the countryside of Damascus announced the approval to start rehabilitating 50 homes, which were selected according to specific conditions by some international organizations operating in Syria, to help the residents, who were dispaced due to terrorusm, return to their homes, while work is underway to select 60 other houses to rehabilitate them in accordance with the same conditions.

Council chairman, Munzer AL Azab, explained in a statement to SANA that the houses which were selected are located within the organizational plan, duly licensed, and were equipped before being vandalized by terrorists, indicating that their owners are among the groups most in need and that the houses are structurally valid and can be restored.

Al-Azab pointed out that since the restoration of Darayya from the clutches of terrorism, the number of homes qualified by their owners has reached 23,000.

 Al-Azab mentioned that 20 shops were also selected for rehabilitation by international organizations.
