The National Earthquake Center: 7 weak tremors  monitored during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Seismological Center announced that 7 earthquakes of low intensity were recorded during the past 24 hours.

The Center said in a statement that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring Network recorded until 6:24 am today 4 tremors in Turkey, ranging between magnitude 3.7 and 2.5 on the Richter scale, and a 1.5- magnirude earthquake in Iskenderun.

The Center added: The stations also recorded an earthquake 26 km northwest of Latakia, measuring magnitude  2.5 on the Richter scale, and a tremor in the Lebanese coast, southwest of Beirut, measuring magnitude 2.3.
