The Israeli occupation continues to hold corpses of 12 Palestinians captives

Occupied Al-Quds – The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society has announced that the Israeli occupation authorities continue to hold the bodies of 12 martyrs from the Palestinian National Captive Movement.

According to the society, the captives, whose corpses are still being held by the occupation are identified as Anis Dawlah, whose body has been held since 1980, Aziz Owaisat since 2018, Faris Baroud, Nassar Taqatqa and Bassam Al-Sayeh since 2019, Saadi Al-Gharabli and Kamal Abu Waar since 2020, Sami Al-Amour since 2021, Daoud Al-Zubaidi, Muhammad Maher Turkman and Nasser Abu Hamid since 2022 and Khader Adnan since the 2nd of last May.

237 Palestinian captives have been killed in the occupation detention centers since 1967. 84 of those captives were killed in execution by firing squad, 73 as a result of torture and 80 as a result of deliberate medical negligence. In addition, many captives were martyred after their release because of diseases they were infected with during their detention period.
