Khartoum – A 24-hour truce came into effect this morning in Sudan that stops the current clashes and hostilities.
Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported on Saturday that the General Command of the Sudanese armed forces yesterday agreed on the truce suggestion given the difficult humanitarian situation from which of the Sudanese people are suffering due to the ongoing clashes.
The command stressed its commitment to the truce, but it reserves the right to retaliate against any violations that could be committed by the other side.
