Russian authorities evacuate more than 1,000 people in Kherson province, due to the destruction of the Kakhovka dam

Moscow (ST): The Russian authorities evacuated today more than 1,000 people in Kherson Province, in connection with the destruction of the dam of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station by the Kiev regime.

Sputnik news agency quoted the Russian Emergencies Ministry as saying: “Emergency men rescued 1,534 people, including 154 children, bringing the outcome of the evacuation process so far to 5,133 people, including 178 children and 66 people with limited mobility.”

The Ministry added, “The Ministry’s air transport groups in Rostov Province, the city of Sevastopol, and rescue centers in Donetsk are on full alert.”

The Ministry stated that “a group of more than 190 people and 66 units of high-performance equipment, including 25 watercraft, are operating at the site.”
