Kanaani: Iranian missile activities are defensive and in line with international laws

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani confirmed that Iran’s missile industries and activities are defensive and traditional, and are in accordance with international laws.

In a statement to reporters today, Kanani considered that the interventionist statements of some Western countries regarding the Fattah hypersonic missile are unacceptable and have no value, pointing out that these countries have a long and clear history of violating their international obligations in various fields, including nuclear tests and the nuclear non-proliferation regime. And hosting nuclear missiles, and playing a subversive role around the world, and therefore has no right to comment on the legitimacy of Iran’s defense and legal capabilities.

Finally, Kanani praised the continuous efforts made by the Iranian Armed Forces and its strategic achievements in strengthening the country’s defense base, describing it as a correct and effective measure to create deterrence against external threats, and to defend the country’s national security.
