OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Jun.6, (ST)- Today, the Israeli occupation forces uprooted 50 olive trees and destroyed a retaining wall in the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, according to local sources.
They said the trees and the wall belong to different residents of the town.
The occupation forces also destroyed several agricultural roads, said the sources, according to WAFA News Agency.
In another development, several Palestinians nearly suffocated during confrontations that broke out today in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the southern occupied West Bank, according to local activist Mohammed Awad.
The activist said confrontations broke out between Palestinians and Israeli occupation forces stationed at the military checkpoint at the entrance of the aforementioned town, during which the latter fired tear gas canisters at the town residents, causing several people to nearly suffocate.
They were all treated at the scene.
