A Czech tourist magazine talks about Aleppo laurel soap

Prague (ST): The Czech magazine “People and States”, specialized in tourism, published a photo report on the soap industry in the city of Aleppo.

The Czech orientalist Dr. Lenka Hrabalova, who prepared the report, indicated that Aleppo soap is the oldest in the world, and that its industry in Aleppo has recovered after the damage it suffered during the war, and that this soap has turned into a symbol of the city, and is an important part of its industry and economy.

She said that laurel oil is what makes Aleppo soap famous in the world.
