Al-Mikdad in Iraq for talks on boosting Syrian-Iraqi ties 

Baghdad – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Faisal Al-Mikdad on Saturday arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on an official visit at the invitation Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein.

Al-Mikdad is due to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries.

He was welcomed by the Undersecretary of the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, senior officials in the ministry and the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq.
