Terrorists in Idlib prevent students in areas under their control from reaching Saraqib crossing to take their exams

On the first day of opening the Saraqib crossing in the southern countryside of Idlib by concerned authorities, terrorist groups prevented basic education and high school students in the areas under their control in Idlib from reaching the crossing and passing through it to governemt controlled areas to take their exams.

“The terrorists prevented the students from reaching the Saraqib crossing and heading to the safe state-controlled areas to take their exams this year,” Idlib education director Nader Abdo said in a statement to SANA reporter.

He pointed out that several government institutions have completed all preparations to receive students and secure their needs, including equipping two centers in Khan Sheikhoun area with all the necessary means to host and accommodate students and provide the necessary services to them, in addition to securing buses to transport students, health teams, medical personnel and ambulances that belong to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent and the Idlib Health Directorate.

Governor of Idlib, Thaer Salhab, issued a circular to the concerned authorities in the province asking them to open the Saraqib crossing between the 3rd and the 6th of this month, for the entry of students of basic education and high school in all branches from unstable areas to take the first session of general exams for 2023.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, 2,700 students from the ninth grade arrived in Aleppo city, coming from areas controlled by terrorist organizations through the Taiha crossing in Aleppo countryside, to take their final exam.
