11 weak earthquakes recorded during the past 24 hours

Damascus (ST): The National Earthquake Center announced that its stations recorded 11 weak tremors during the past 24 hours, with a magnitude of less than 3.1 on the Richter scale.

In its announcement, the Center stated that the tremors recorded from last night until 8 am this morning were distributed between a 2.2-degree earthquake in the sea northwest of Latakia, and a 3-degree earthquake in Iskenderun(Alexandretta ), northwest of Idlib.

Also, among the recorded tremors, the earthquake northwest of Al-Hasakeh with a magnitude of 2.6, the earthquake south of Palmyra with a magnitude of 2.1, and the earthquake north of Latakia with a magnitude of 1.7, and an earthquake in the sea west-northwest of Latakia with a magnitude of  3 degrees, and an earthquake in the sea west of Latakia, 33 km, with a magnitude of 1.8 degrees.

It also recorded an earthquake west-northwest of Tartous, 65 kilometers, measuring 1.1 degrees, and an earthquake in northern Lebanon, 44 kilometers southeast of Tartous,  measuring 1 degree.
