Opening of Children’s Theater Festival performances in Lattakia

Elissar Theater Band opened the activities of the Children’s Theater Festival with a play (The Bear’s Guest), on the stage of Dar Al-Assad Theater for Culture in Lattakia, which is organized by Dr. Lubana Mushaweh, Minister of Culture – Directorate of Theaters and Music – National Theater in Lattakia.

About the festival, Professor Nidal Adeira, director of Elissar Band, said:

Elissar Band is participating in this festival as part of the opening show (The Bear’s Guest), which talks about exploitation and kind-heartedness,on (Young for kids) Theater stage which did several exercises on how to access the child mind.The ages of the participants range between 15, 20 and 30 years, depending on the presented character.

 

Adeira concluded: We strive to present plays with meaningful content while integrating the rest of the elements from the actor’s capabilities, the director’s experience, the quality of the script, and the appropriateness of the show’s conditions.

It is noteworthy that the performances will continue until 21 and 22 on the stage of Dar al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia, at four in the afternoon.
